NoteTab Light

There’s actually a whole family of NoteTab . . . Light, Standard and Pro, but NoteTab Light is the free one so that’s why I’ve named this page after it!  NoteTab really is terrific, it’s been winning awards since 1998 so they’ve had plenty of time to get it just right. This leading text editor does just about everything for you (except make the coffee):

• can handle a really enormous pile of massive files – making it all so easy
• allows you to format your files to your hearts content
• will make system wide searches for you
• can even handle multi-line global replacements
• checks and corrects your spelling
• adds bookmarks
• converts text to HTML
• etc. etc. etc.

You can open up multiple files simultaneously and there’s a toolbar (fully configurable of course) with more than 90 commands. They’ll even give you some handy hints and tips every time you go there . . . if you want them.

It’s alright, don’t start fiddling about with the volume control and the mute/unmute buttons (like I did) . . . there is no sound, it’s a silent video!
