OpenOffice.org

OpenOffice.org (not sure about this habit of making one word out of more than one word and sticking capital letters in the middle of them . . . my old English tutor will be turning in her grave . . . it’s just not right is it?), anyway, moan over, OpenOffice.org is a great piece of free software which can very competently cope with all of your word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, presentations, databases and much more. OpenOffice.org is available in lots of different languages (good idea) and will work on any common computer, whilst happily reading and writing files from different common office software. You can download and use OpenOffice.org absolutely free, well, that’s why it’s called freeware!

Okay, so he hasn’t got the most riveting of voices and his personality doesn’t exactly, shall we say, shine through the video, but it’s good and informative . . . what more do you want from me?
